Bracket knocked up from an off-cut of stainles steel.
Ratio of inner cable to outer cable wrong so nipple at pedal end cut off and a clamp on one fabricated.
New hole drilled in pedal arm to give better angle as cable comes through bulkhead.
Hole in bulkhead too big so "temporary" fix done with a large washer.

Check, double check and then check again for free movement/no sticking before road test!

Of course I could have coughed up 30 squids for a cable repair and kept that big ugly pivot bracket thingy
